The Quartz Ensemble is Northern Arizona’s newest professional choir. Bringing together singers from across Arizona and the west coast, the ensemble’s mission is to bring the highest quality choral singing to the tri-cities area, while also challenging ideas and assumptions of what classical choral music can be. Founded in 2021, Quartz hopes to form connections between artists and audiences in an attempt to bring hope and beauty into the Prescott, Arizona area, from which our name is derived from.

Dr. Joshua Harper and his professional chorus Quartz Ensemble return to Prescott to perform with the Arizona Philharmonic.
The concert features beautiful and emotional works by a variety of composers spanning well over 300 years: Bach, Mendelssohn, Whitacre, Buxtehude, Rheinberger, Vasks, and Pulitzer prize winner Caroline Shaw.
